In order to meet the increase of production need, Vision decided to extend their existing facility. A new engineered solution of 650 Tons (2.4 MW) of cooling was designed to lower the energy costs of the new process cooling system. As a result the total number of pumps was reduced by 3 versus previous design. This translate to $ 40.000 saving of initial capital cost plus $ 300.000 energy saving over the plant life time. To further reduce the overall annual energy consumption the free cooling feature was added too. The latest generation of control and monitoring system ensures that the savings continue longer after initial commissioning process. A complete 3D optimization of the mechanical room piping and equipment layout was done previous of construction phase. This optimization lead to a considerable reduction time for site construction, giving the possibility to start to install the equipment as arrives on site.
